This weeks Woot.com's entry is for Dubious Honours. My idea was to take a pop culture game icon Assassins, ninjas, Ghost recon experts and show how an "Overachiever" gets the job done. No witnesses and worth of praise, but so sneaky "Underhanded" and clandestine, did they do anything at all?....

I wanted this idea to work on many levels. Hope it wins!

Unfinished Business

 
 

I wanted to post a few of my unfinished works. Various painted sketches that were used as tests. Tried a few new styles with digital illustration techniques by laying grayscales then adjusting the colors later. Great for when you really just want need to make changes along the way.

BATMAN ARKHAM CITY!

...I recently purchased Batman Arkham City for the XBOX 360. This game is truly fantastic! The game has a great sense of the DC character, while adding a solid video game feel.

ROCKSTEADY did a fantastic job, packing a ton of material in this game. The 400 riddler collectables ..a great challenge to find them all, but so worth the time...

The New Man Of Steel

DC Comics started the relaunch of 52 #1 books this week. They gave Superman a re-do as well. I really liked the new outfit..Here is a quick sketch I drew up last night in between work.

I have been reading DC Comics "Flashpoint" an alternate universe based on the Barry Allen's world around him. I got inspired to draw a (..Quick..)  sketch of Barry Allen. Added some forced perspective to the pose at first I did not love it, but I ended up coloring it anyway. And turned out to be worth posting it.

At the end of this week I took some to time to illustrate a random comic book character. This week "Lobo" was picked a great DC character that I have overlooked. Here it the finished art!
